better than bradshaw

This Carey is better than Carrie Bradshaw. I am completely smitten at how elegant Carey Mulligan is. Here she is at Cannes promoting Wall Street 2:

Perfection.

animale + neon

There are two labels in Brazil that really rock my boat. First up is Animale. Here are a few of my faves from their Fall/Winter 2010 collection:

Then there is Neon, which has really grown on me, especially due to their use of prints and colour. Again, some faves also from their Fall/Winter 2010 line:

apiece apart

This morning I discovered apiece apart on 2 or 3 things I know, and I have fallen in love.

I want to dress like this all the time. Here are a few of my favourites from their current and past collections.

lost in pictures

LOST is one of the greatest things to ever happen to television.

Jared Stumpenhorst, a talented American illustrator, knows this too. So he has come up with the LOST 356 Project. To make LOST inspired illustrations during the sixth and final season of the groundbreaking show.

I want to own all of these illustrations. I might just have to.

forever is in sweden

She probably doesn't need any help in getting people to notice her, but I must advise you to check out Forever is Today. A lovely blog by Hilda Grahnat, a 23 year old graphic design student from Sweden.

Sweden is where it's at, people.

sally pring

I've spent the weekend trying to finally decide what will go on my yellow bedroom's walls - my postcards, my vintage records... Hopefully I'll have something to show soon. As I looked through Bodie and Fou for some inspiration, since they gave me this idea once (which is very much in progress). Suddenly I came across Sally Pring, a London-based illustrator.

Totally fell for her work, which can be purchased via her website, if you have a Paypal account:

I love her lines and colours. I want them all.
